This guide mirrors how Melanin works in the mobile app: publish to the feed, go live, list events, and grow with your community. Use it as a quick reference for what to expect and what we expect from you.

Create an account with a reachable email or phone, then complete your profile (name, photo, short bio, and location where it helps discovery). Turn on notifications if you host events or go live so attendees and fans do not miss updates.

If you sell tickets or use the wallet, keep payout details accurate. Verification steps exist to reduce fraud and protect everyone on the platform.

Share authentic moments: celebrations, faith gatherings, family stories, and culture forward updates. Write clear captions, credit collaborators, and only upload media you own or have rights to use.

Engagement (likes, comments, saves, shares) helps people discover you. Avoid spam, engagement bait, or misleading thumbnails. Quality beats volume.

Before you go live, check lighting, audio, and network stability. Set expectations in the title or first minute: what viewers will see and how they can participate respectfully.

Moderate comments when needed, discourage harassment, and end streams that become unsafe. Financial support features (where available) should never pressure viewers or misrepresent outcomes.

List accurate dates, venues, pricing, refund rules, and age or dress requirements. Update the listing if plans change and communicate cancellations promptly.

Organizers are responsible for on site safety and complying with local laws. Attendees should follow venue and host instructions. Repeated misleading listings may be removed.
